Camping donuts
Now that you got me started, here's one from the Boy Scouts. Heat up some oil in a dutch oven. Take a tube of those ready to bake biscuits (Pillsbury, etc), make a hole through the middle of the biscuit, and drop it in the oil. Cook for a very short time, drain and drop them in a box of powdered sugar, cinnamon or your choice of coatings. Taste just like donuts. My scouts can eat hundreds of these.

Re: Camping donuts
Actually, not any. You just make a hole, don't really punch anything out. But, it wouldn't matter, they eat everything.

Re: Camping donuts
These are great. My wife has been making them since we got married 13 years ago.
Come to think of it it's been awhile since I've had any. May have to make a suggestion.
