Changes to the storage compartment
Well I was bored today no Theraphy today and my sholder is better but I needed to get my mind off the aches so I thought HMMMMMM wildcat fix. well to make a long story short I have a few pics with comments.
I soldered all of the poor crimp on terminals that the RV people did and some that Forest River did.
Made new wires for the Batteries Because before they were two different Gauges and hooked strange?
Turned Pump so that first battery and cover could be removed without forcing it past.

And Yes I did Vacuum up after myself.

Originally The RV dealer put the second battery box on top of the floor and I cut out the floor and recessed the box just like the other one.

Man U got more parts and pieces for the HYD pump than I have ever seen. All I have is wires. What are all the toggle switches for?

Re: Changes to the storage compartment
That is cool, set up and turn them all of. Kinda curious why U would turn the slides off. It would come handy if you were working inside and forget to check for clearance. Interesting.

Re: Changes to the storage compartment
The Safety for the slides is controlling the switch to the left to shut it off to keep something from trigging the momentary switch inside the compartment.

Re: Changes to the storage compartment

The left two now on top are for the Hydraulic pump one is 50 amps the other is 20 amps I guess that makes it 70 amps.
The one in the middle is for the awning and converter and is 30 amps.
The next one down is for the front jacks and is 30 amps.
The last one is for the rear stablizers and is 30 amps.

They never put those animals in my trailer. Even when I had HYD jacks.

Re: Changes to the storage compartment
I noticed that all the breakers are joined with a copper strip but where is the power input? I would have thought that it was wired on the copper strip.

That was but at that point I had already removed them for moving. If you go back to the Pics the 7th one down shows how it is hooked up now.......

Re: Changes to the storage compartment
I toyed around with the wiring too, but this is all I could do....The cover hides the batteries quite nicely. And no, the battery box is NOT vent, the whole front compartment is due to the generator on the left. Notice the aluminum plate behind the pump. It serves as a firewall. Keeps things fairly organized in the compartment behind the firewall.
