Cheyenne Wyoming CGs
Looking for recommendations on a CG along I-80 at Cheyenne?
Also, has anyone stayed at the KOA in Laramie?

Not much help but do stay clear of Fort Caspar campground in Casper, WY. Just a big gravel lot. Hope you get better soon

South of I80 (on I25) there is a CG called Terry Bison Ranch Resort. Looks suitable and you can walk over to check out the 1000+ head of Buffalo. Its a stones throw from the Colorado / Wyoming border.
Never stayed there but drive by it 2 - 3x a month.....

Sorry I'm so late responding to this question. The Cheyenne KOA which is just a bit east of Cheyenne would be good for a night or two. It's close to the highway with easy access. It's a KOA so everything was clean and the sites had a bit more spacing between them than most of the KOA's I've stayed at. Don't look for grass though as the sites are all gravel. Here's a pic of our site at Cheyenne.

We are staying at the Cheyenne KOA on our way to Grand Teton/Yellowstone. Thanks for the picture, it looks like a good place for a stop over.
