Traders Village, Grand Prairie, TX

Post by BobnPi on 4/28/2011, 4:58 am

Tater, have you and Scruffy ever been there? I see this Saturday they are having a cajun Festival. I was wondering if it would be worth the 2 hour drive for DW and I.

We were there once about 15 years ago. Cajun Festival sounds good... we lived in Cajun land four about 6 years in the 80s. Too bad we're so busy building our porch or we could meet you there. We're trying to get it finished before our anniversary guests arrive.

I can ask my daughter if anybody she works with ever talks about Traders Village.

That's 10 years off. Try 50.

I texted my daughter. She says no one at work talks about Traders Village. I imagine if she has time, she'll ask, but it might be too late for you. She took off this morning to meet with someone from their HOA, and then the twit didn't show up or even call. Someone complained about the dead plants on their property. The only thing that looks like it might be dead is the pampas grass. Pampas grass turns brown in the winter, and comes back anew in the spring (which it is doing right now).... nothing else in the yard even resembles anything dead. Their pampas grass is absolutely beautiful, I wish ours were half as lovely. Venting over.

Our profile doesn't have a place for anniversary.

Friday the 13th this year.

Scruffy and Tater

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! May you enjoy the celebration and have many more.

Looks like you have us beat by 7 months. I think we will be doing a family thing at Christmas in Disney land (no RV's)

Connie and I are celebrating our 46th this coming Saturday, the 30th. We are in a campground north of Santa Barbara called Ocean Mesa ...nice place...view of the Pacific, etc. Only thing wrong, it is very windy here and isnt suppose to die down until later on in the week....
