Pulled the trigger

Post by brokeinct on Fri Apr 22, 2011 1:41 pm

I retired the 99 ford sd 5.4 (did its job slooowly but surely) to a 2010 Dodge 6.7 CTD 6 speed auto. Took me awhile to change from Ford this was my 3rd one but the numders worked on the Dodge and the diesel seems to have get up and go. Next week hope to do the hitch and take the cat for a ride hope I don't regret this but so far have high hopes for this truck. Thanks all on my othe post to help me decide.

Enjoy the ride. You've got the most quiet, smoothest and powerfull Cummins they ever put in a P/U. Your going to be grinning ear to ear pulling the cat.

Congratulations on your new Dodge, your gonna love it. Ours pulls my heavy Montana like its not there.

My 2006 Ford would do a lot of downshifting on slight inclines, but the Dodge doesn't, it just keeps on pulling in 6TH GEAR.
