Looking for someplace to wash my wildcat, along Route 80
Driving from PA to Elkhart on route 80. I'm looking for someplace to pull over and wash my RV. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've never used a truck wash before, how does that work, just like a normal automated car wash?

A lot of the Truck washes are hand detailed. They have a crew that comes out and washes your truck. I've never taken a camper in one, but I'm sure they'd wash it. Most smaller car washes are not going to have enough room for you to get in and out. So a truck stop or similar would be your best bet. Unless you spot a charity drive thats doing a car wash to raise money in a big store parking lot.

love4GodI second the truck stop. Many of the larger ones along I-80 will have pull-thru washes.
BTW, love your handle.

to the forum. There is a large truck stop at the intersection of RT. 38 and 80, town called Emlenton. You can see the truck stop from 80. I would imagine they have the wash facilities.
