Mens weekend

Post by kwf904 on 4/14/2011, 11:33 am

Leaving tomorrow with the guys for the weekend. Unfortunately, the 'cat is staying home. This is a tents only weekend. Basically this is five guys eating mass quantities of cooked animals and sitting around a campfire. Sounds like heaven doesn't it? lol!

headbanger I wish I had time to get back into canoeing trips like I used to. Loved tent camping on a river sand bar in the middle of nowhere.

I vaguely remember going on a few of those over the years. I always had way too much fun!! alco Shooters

If I ever admitted just how much fun I really had, the Mrs. would never let me go again, or speak to any of my buddies either.

We had a great weekend. The food started early and never really stopped Laughing Tater, the wives do get together when we go away. Usually they go out to dinner. Temps were pretty cold Friday night (25 degrees) I did bring up the topic of bringing our campers next year. Sleeping on the ground isn't as fun as it used to be lol!

The cold nights and the hard ground is what promped me to get an RV in the first place. My close friend, Arthur Itis, has been thanking me ever since.

Glad you and the boys had way too much fun.

Dinner out would be okay, and a trip to a spa, and a night at the theater - no kids, of course.
