Shower Valves.
Has anybody taken apart the shower valves. My hot water valve is leaking around the threads. Need to disassemble and see if I can service it. I know the handle comes off and yes I have taken ones apart in the house but are these the same. Anybody got any advise.

Re: Shower Valves.
You talking about the faucet itself ?
If your wrenching on the faucet itself, I'd yank it on out , take it down to a local plumbing supply " not big box supply" , and get a "A" grade faucet that matches it. Its usually cheaper than the big box stores. I haven't done it yet, but soon as mine starts to leak or breaks, I'm yanking the plastic stuff out.

Re: Shower Valves.
You are correct the body is plastic. Suggesting that the plastic be replace with an all metal faucet. Good idea
