Winegard Wingman upgrade

Post by rjgabel on 4/10/2011, 2:22 pm

I'm thinking about putting the Winegard Wingman on my RV. I'm not sure if I have a Sensar ll or Sensar lll batwing antenna. I looked on top of the RV and did not see any ID on the antenna. I looked through the pamphlets that came with the camper and did'nt find any info. Any help on identifying this antenna I have? scratch

Looking on Winegard's website, the only difference between the II and III is style. The performance is exactly the same. Regardless of which one you have, the batwing will install the same way on either. It's a quick under five minute install that you can do yourself if you're comfortable on your Cat roof.

I also have the batwing on my sensar and can tell a huge difference in signal strength.

Satellite tv is much easier for me, push button sat dish rises, all I have to do then is rotate the dish to tune into the satellite.

Thanks everyone. I just ordered some parts for the camper and did order the Wingman. Looking forward to another season of camping. Hoping to get to eastern Nebraka so my Dad can see the camper.
