Oh sure, Phillip. You just had to show us the flowers in bloom in GA, while we up here in the cold north country have to suffer a bit more before the lillacs and forscytia come out.
Nice pix though.

The canoe is 12' solo old town
The kayak next to it is 10'.
Also have a 12' kayak stuffed in the front of the camper.
There's about the same distance between the boats and nose as there is from the tailgate to the camper.

Looks like my kind of trip Phillip. I figured the canoe/kayak was the reason you were looking for the roof racks a while back.

Thanks Phillip...Mine is 15',I guess all it would do is hang over the front a little more.

Re: Stone Mountain Park, Atlanta Ga
Tracker , what you would need to do is get the front hitch for your bumper with the 2" reciever.
Thule makes a single pole " T " Bar that mounts in the 2" hitch. Or you could fab your own. You'd only need one yakima cross bar and towers to mount on the front part of your cab.
The front of the canoe would perch on the " T bar " .
The T bar has two support cables / ropes that tie off to the bumper.
I never thought my 12' kayak would fit in the front of the camper either. I got some funny looks when I popped out of the door with that at the campground. I actually had both kayaks in the front on the way up. Bought the kayak hullraisers from a friend that lives next to stone mountain. So I tried out the short kayak on the rack going back home.
Let me know if you decide to get some racks. Came across an old friend that sells used Yakima gear. He's got lots of accessory stuff , bars, towers etc..... Half the price of new.
If you have a long bed, the bars on the roof might work ?

All you need then is the front bumper hitch mounted on and your set. I guess you already have some roof bars ?

Earl- it's a private park. Same ones that own dollywood.
They did a lot of remodeling on the sites.
Tc- I'd like to sell the 9 1/2' and find another 12' dagger bayou or similar 12 footer.
