Tyler State Park

DW and I are currently parked in Tyler State Park, near Tyler, TX. I've heard a lot of locals say how nice this park is, but we didn't particularly care for it. We were in Area 3, and the only scenery we had was other campers. I will say that it was clean, new bath facilities, and very friendly staff. Also, the Dogwood Chapter of the Lone Star Dutch Oven Society meets there once a month. If you happen to be there when they are cooking you might find some very tasty items coming from their pots. They meet in Area 4, a large wagon wheel site. Check them out.
