Looking for a CG with area for Water Skiing in PA. or WV
Looking for a campground with water skiing close by in Middle or western Penn. Or West Virginia. Will also need a Cabin for 4 people and a site with full hookups. Trying to find a location halfway between Cleveland, Ohio and Southeastern Virginia.

We have not stayed here yet, but are planning to in late April. The CG is called Farma Family Campground. www.farmaparks.com. They advertise full service and primitive cabins. All RV sites are full hook ups. Shenango Lake is nearby with unlimited horsepower for boats. They are located close to Sharon, and Hermitage PA. Their number is 724-253-4535. Shenango Lake also has a campground run by the Army Corp. of Engineers. Reservations are limited to certain areas, but they do not have full hook-ups, or cabin rentals...the positive to this place is that some sites you can actually leave your boat in the water behind or nearby your site.

Raystown Lake is a great place. Had a wonderful two weeks there in 2008. We really like Corps of Engineers campgrounds.

In central WV you have 3 COE lakes. All with nice campgrounds. Sutton Lake, Burnsville Lake and Stonewall Jackson Lake all within 10 miles of I 79 between 99 and 67 mile markers. Good fishing also

We took a drive on Sunday and went to Farma Family CG. Boy am I glad we did....would not recommend it. Very tight sites, not many open for over-night. The pics on their website sure are misleading....As the others have said, Raystown Lake is a nice place. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the lake is very deep and we had trouble finding a decent spot to drop anchor to get out of the boat and wade in the water to cool off.
