Bedrail to underside of camper clearence

Well everyone spring is upon us and its time to get ready for camping again. I purchased a new truck this week. Was wondering what the recommended clearence is between the top of the bedrails and the underside of the 5er. Any suggestions are certainly appreciated. Thanks

About 6" should do it.

I have been told no less than 6 inches.

I have 6 1/2" on mine and have had no problems with it.

I agree, at least 6". More if you get into odd angles or on mountain roads.
