ConcertTone remote

Post by Specktout on 3/24/2011, 1:33 am

My WC has a ZX75 unit with a remote that will only work from a maximum distance of about 4' away. Is this right? My WC is a 2011 model that we bought new last May so the unit is still new.
Anyone else have a problem with their remote. I changed out the battery too. Mark

Hi I just went out to my wildcat and checked out my remote and it will turn on from one end of the trailer to the other. so it goes about 25+ feet no problem you might try changing the batteries out I had that issue with other remotes also you might check the unit for the clear plastic they put on it to protect it with might still be a piece over the eye on it.

I changed out the battery, and checked for the clear plastic on the unit and the remote. I'm still having problems with it working. Sometimes it will work from about 7' or 8' away, but most of the time I have to have it about 2' or 3' away for it to work. I'm thinking that I have a bad remote now.

I had to get the Concertone replaced under warranty to fix the problem with my remote, so now I can actually use my remote from anywhere in the living area, but I have another question for all you techno experts, how do you view photo's from a SD card or USB cable on the Concertone? I plugged my USB cable into the unit, but all I get is a "loading" icon on my TV and Concertone, it never does anything else. I put it on audio 1 and tried audio 2, nothing.

I can't remember but I think the fotos have to be in the main directory to work I think when I used my camera flash card it would not work untill I copied them over to the main folder. But the new tv (which has a USB slot) I bought for the bed room pops up a menu you can scroll to the directory with the files.
