Sweet! Got to see the parent rip up some fish and feed it to the baby.

Re: Eagle Cam
Thanks. I'll have to look in now and then. Last year I watched an owl cam - Molly and McGee and their 4 young. If my memory serves me right 4 out of 6 eggs hatched and survived.
I must say, the nest in the wild is much prettier than the owl house.

Thank you for sharing the link! My daughter juts brought home a library book about birds and she was fascinated that it takes 2 months for a bald eagle to build a nest. Can't wait to show her this!

Re: Eagle Cam
My girls both have made it part of their morning rountine this week to check in on the eagles before the bus comes and it's the first thing they want to see upon walking back in the door after school!
I admit, I've checked in on them frequently during the day too. Love the Eagle Cam!
Thank you again for sharing! Ironic that your posted the link this week Frank in addition to all the nest activity because it's National Wildlife Week. Learned that from the moderator on the Eagle Cam website.

Sad News:
The Female Eagle (Momma) was struck and Killed Tuesday by an incoming US Airways Jet landing at the Norfolk, Va. between 8:30 to 8:50 A.M.
Today (Wed) they removed the Chicks and they were sent to the Wildlife Center in Waynesboro, Va. There they will be hand feed and place in a special flight Pen. They hope to be released into the wild at a later date when they are able to fly on their own and feed them selfs.
