Living Room Slide Not Tracking Straight.
Newbe to this site & RV slides.
I have a 06 Wildcat 29' 5-er with living room & bed room slides
The RV was set up for some time with the slides out. Like a few years, as this was my abode away form home.
When we bought the RV the teck stated that support for the slides was not needed.
Well when I finally went to move; the living room slide didnot track straight coming in & hooked the hand hold going up the stairs to the bed room.
With some grunting, pulling, pushing, cussing, & working the slide in & out finally got it in somewhat straight & tight.
1st question - Are the rails on the slide to be lubed & if so, what is the best way to do this & what to use.
2nd question - Also notice this weekend that the bottom gasket of the living room slide is not tight, I can easly slide my hand between gasket & frame approx.1 1/2" space.
I looked at the slide adjustment suggested on this site & will that work for the adjustment needed at the bottom or should I have a tech do the adjustments. The slide appears to be flush with the side when in.
All help appreciated.
Thk's in advance

Re: Living Room Slide Not Tracking Straight.
Hello and welcome to the forum.
Just use a silicone spray, I use CRC.
Almost sounds like you have a sheer pin that broke. Looking under the slide, where the gears are, look around, its a bolt about 3 inches long.
Someone on here had this problem before and posted pictures, hopefully they will chime in soon.
