Tom/Oldelmer1 X-Factor

Post by Mopar_Earl on 3/8/2011, 12:50 pm

Tom,
I noticed your signature states 2010 Montana 3150RL Hickory Edition, Wet bolt kit and X-Factor added

The X-Factor you speak of the one by Mor/ryde for between the spring hangers? If so, can you tell me about them and attach pictures if you could. I'm thinking about adding them to my WC when I raise it two inches to help support the hangers with the added stress.

Thanks,
Earl

Sweet, thanks Tom! They look well made and heavy. I like them. I just need to see if they will clear my galley tank drain pipe that runs from the rear to the front of the trailer over the axles. How tall are they? I'm hoping they will fit above or below my drain pipe.

You happy with them? I see Tweety's has the lowest price and free shipping on them. I can't seem to find much about them on the RV forums. I know Lippert has a LIP sheet out on adding these types of supports but with pipe and welding it to the hangers. I don't want to get into all that. I like the idea of the bolt-on X-factors.

BTW, great pics. Just what I needed. Wish companies would put more info on their sites about their products.

Thanks,
Earl

Earl,

The cross members are made out of 3x3 material, and they hug right up against the underbelly material.

I cant really comment on if I like them or not, they were installed right after I bought he camper, so I don't really see or feel a difference. I'm sure there is a difference, i hope. Laughing

They seem like a great idea but weight is becoming an issue with my Cat, I open a cupboard and things fall out, Her indoors is using it for extra storage ( I do have a great welder now though 180 amps electronic speed control for wire speed and amp out put).
