Shame shame. But still, it's great humor. I'll remember this when it's July/August and you are in Redding.

I think we should rename Maxtor, Dr. Evil. You can almost hear his maniacal laughter.

I feel a little chill tonight too.......- 18 for a low with wind chill factors in the -30's to -40's. Just called off school for tomorrow for the little ones. I only wish I was sitting in shorts eating ice cream

We will be as far south as one can get in the US all next week!
Sitting on the beach in Key West sippin' on a frozen drink.
It's my first visit to the Keys and lookin' forward to a little sunshine and 70's. I just hope we can fly out of here on Friday without the snow and ice.

Re: We feel your pain...
Looking at the news, it looks like most of the country is going to get blasted with snow and ice. I hope everyone stays safe. Extra water, gas for your generators, and extra food and fuel for your heaters is a good thing to have. Reports say that trees might bring electric wires down from ice and snow.
Wish that you all could be here with us.
Stay safe

Even though I'm really tempted to make fun of winter in the rest of the country sometimes, I usually remain silent and just enjoy the valley of the sun.

You better remain silent; I grew up in southern AZ and know what it's like in July. I don't think we have anyone from Hawaii; they are about the only ones that really have it made.
