Leak when slide is out
I'm hoping that someone can help me figure this out or has had the same leak. I have a leak in my dinette/couch slide only when the slide is out. The water shows on the interior weeping from a screw on the window frame (top red arrow). The water then, I assume, travels down the wall and leaves the carpet wet under the couch. I don't see any glaring cracks in the seals or trim and no tears in the roof. I also checked the weep holes in the outside of the window frame and they were clear. Any thoughts?

Re: Leak when slide is out
Since the slide only leaks while open, than I'd start at the roof and the flanges. Really check the top left conner where the flanges come together. That's where mine leaked and ran down the wall and soaked the carpet. Water doesn't always flow straight down so it could be coming from an area away from where the leak is. I'd get a couple tubes of sealer and reseal the whole slide, roof seams and all.

I'm thinking of using Eternabond tape on the roof seams and Dicor lap sealant. Thoughts? Also I'm going to use Proflex RV sealant on all the vertical seams of the slide.

Have to watch using anything that does not set up well, on mine the sealant forest river used keeps getting stuck to the seals. I cleaned a lot of this off and went to a good 3M marine grade silicone its a little more expensive but it stays put

FIXED!!!! Eternabond tape and Dicor sealant. Thanks for all the help. I also installed a Carefree slide topper to finish out the project.

Nice follow-up!
I'm a believer in Eternabond and Proflex. Both are excellent products.
