On my wild cat the lights switch for the lights in the living area are inside the cabinet in what they call pantry ?
Has anyone moved theirs I want to move it somewhere else! so i won't have to open the cabinet all the time.

Re: Interior Lights
My switch is on the wall when you enter the camper. I never seen a switch in a cabinet. I think I would try and relocate it to a wall. That must have been a mistake on the person who installed the lights.

Re: Interior Lights
Its no mistake my main light switch is also behind the cabinet door as you come in the entrance door. I am going to put another switch lower on the wall and wire it so either switch can be used. It really is a pain the butt.

Re: Interior Lights
Should be an easy job to do as there are only 2 wires, If you want to be able to use both switches you will need to replace the original with a 2 way switch and the new one would also need to be 2 way.
(2 way switch works like the one in your home. 1 at the bottom of your stairs turns lights on and off so does the one at the top of the stairs, but you can turn the 1 on at the bottom and use the switch up stairs to turn it off, there is another connecting tab in side the switch to enable this feature) I am just pointing this out just in case some people do not know and try to do some thing like this and have trouble not making it work properly.

Re: Interior Lights
Interesting location. I have three switches ganged together underneath the overhead storage located to the left of the door over the first livingroom seat.
One controls the scare lights, one controls the porch light and one controls the interior lighting. I think that's pretty standard for the 29RLBS

Our interior light switch is in the same place as schrowang's. I wonder what genius designer came up with the idea of putting them inside the pantry.

My 31TS has the switch in the cabinet also. Evertime I open the cabinet door to turn the lights on/off I scrach my head and wonder why? I think a mod is in the works for my Cat also.

My 31TS has the switch in the cabinet also. I have thought just take the door off!! The only items in the cabinet are the light switchs, the tank montors, awning and slide switchs. I have 4 light switchs, I wish they had labeled them!! (pet peave)

Re: Interior Lights
We have a 2010 31TS with the switches behind the door. Kinda like the decorative door over the switches versus them open on the corridor as folks walk in. Everyone has thier own opinion. However, I had to label mine also as I kept forgetting which switches controled which light.

Re: Interior Lights
My 31TS has the switches just inside the door. They are behind a small door panel that also has the slide and awning controls. Are some of you refering to this as the pantry or are you referring to the pantry as the place where you store food items, etc?

The same idiot that took the electric eye for turning off the stereo (which does not work in ours) and put it behind the bathroom door on the 2007 models.
