PRESENTING .........
THE GRAY GHOST (an allusion to Major Mosbey, of course)

I love the interior of this thing. The difference between the 04.5' and the 10' is like night and day. The back seating actually has more leg room and according to the DW the seats are much more comfortable.

Wow...that's a beautiful truck. Congratulations. They really did a great job with those back seats. That was one of the biggest drawbacks of the earlier Dodge trucks. But boy, it sure has some room back there now. Very nice!

Very nice. Since there is snow on the floor, I have to conclude that there is a hole in the roof. I think you should throw this one away and get another one (I will take it off your hands for you).

But Maxtor, I've always owned a Dodge PU. Let's see, a 90 Dakota, a 96 Dakota, an 00 Ram 1500 5.9L gasser, an 04.5 Ram 2500 5.9L CTD, and now the 2010 Ram 2500 6.7L CTD. Each was used for towing; the two Dakotas for a Sunline 18.5' gooseneck 5'er; the Ram 1500 for a 28' Trailharbor 5/er and the two Ram CTD's for the CAT. I've loved every one of the trucks. I'd guess you'd call me a RamHead.

Yup! That's exactly what it is Tracker. From the reports I get on TDR it works pretty well too. We'll see once I start towing. Gotta get the wheel bearings repacked and the brakes checked on the Cat this spring before we leave on our 12 week tour of the west.

Hey Mike,
I was looking at your picture of your truck, and noticed that on your house, looks like your siding has come unlocked. See it above your truck just to the right of the evergreen.?
Would hate to see it get ripped off.

Mike,
Well, you've had her for 2 months now, what do you think?
We haven't really pulled with ours yet, so I cant comment on ours. Fuel mileage is 13.5 combo driving, but we only have 1100 miles too.

Tom,
Did one trip (bobtail) to NC and back, which was about 1,800 miles. Truck ran like a champ. I really like the 3.73 diffy. Still gets the torque to the road, but is quicker on the start. I'll get her broken in about 10K.

Re: PRESENTING .........
Nice looking Rig!!! I just made the jump last week from my 04 GMC to a 06 Dodge 2500 diesel 4x4 quad....WOW I actually get gas milage now. I figured out when I sold it I was getting about 6-8 mpg empty. I filled her up when I got it and the guage has barely moved with 300km on it so far I would be on tank number 2 with the GMC. I am so impressed with the power, I think I will airbag the rear axle to smooth the ride, that would be the only con with this truck, AND not seeing a hairline crack in the drivers side windshield, so I guess I will have to have my auto glass buddy over for some beers.

Halfway through the 2004 model year, the Cummins 5.9L got a little bump in power output.
2003-2004 Cummins 5.9L HO produced 305 HP and 555 lb-ft TQ.
2004.5-2007 5.9L Cummins produced 325 HP and 610 lb-ft TQ.
There may be other differences, but that's the big one I know of.
EDIT: I re-read your question and I think I answered a totally different question. He meant to abbreviate 2004.5 to '04.5 and 2010 to '10.
