Diesel site coolant filters

Anyone ever put one of these things on their Ford 6.0's ? Well, If you have, boy do I have a deal for you.

I have 6 Baldwin coolant filters, part # B5134 for sale. Paid $10.50 each, will sell all 6 for $50.00 delivered.

Dan,
Yes, I put it on when I had about 15K miles on it.

Supposedly, the big problem with the 6.0's was sand from the block casting would get into the EGR cooler and clog it up, causing it to overheat and blow the head gaskets.

I changed the first filter at 500 miles and I cut it open. There was some sand, but not as much as some of the pictures folks on the foes diesel forum had.

My 1986 Isuzu Turbo Diesel was made the same why.

Have you put on a CCV mod.

Dan,

No, the only mod I did was added the coolant filter and I put a test pipe in place of the catalytic converter.

But now my Dodge is pure stock.
