Another reason I designed my house around my garage that is designed to accommodate my 22' long truck and have ample room to walk around it.
At 6am almost every morning, my neighbor starts up his truck and idles it until it thaws. I start my truck, back out of said garage and leave within 30 seconds of starting. I putt down the road to the highway for about 7 minutes and it's warmed up. The exhaust back pressure valve really does work on the PSD to warm up the engine.
