Water line blow out valve

Post by Admin on 12/1/2010, 12:54 pm

Picked up a water line blow out valve from Acehardware for 3 bucks, little male end that screws into the city water line and has a valve stem on it for your air hose. Worked like a charm, quick and simple.

One like this?

Did you notice that if you put it on with your water filter housing full, it will empty the housing as the air blows through. I always use mine when I have to change the filter.

Yea, the one like that. The one I picked up has a valve stem like a car wheel. I was actually looking for a fitting to go on the end of my quick connect coupling for the airline and the guy asked me what I was doing it for. Then he pointed to a package on the wall and said " Why don't just get one of these young man " .... So I did. I forgot you had showed me those. scratch

Remember I took my filter out when I first got the camper, and i'm still alive.
