Just got back from ThanksGiving

We were going to leave @ 4am, but left the house @ 5am had a flat tire on the CAT. Then off north 150 mile to see the kids & grand kids. Ran right in to the cold front30-40 head winds. the cat pull great. We where yard camping about 10am. That night it went down to 10 F. The fireplace heater work great & we had a heater in the bedroom. The cat stayed at 68-70 with the furnace set at 68, the night lows where 10-20F. The only problem was one night I set the furnace at 60f & froze the fresh water tank feed to the pump. I was very happy with the way the cat handle the cold. DW & I had a great time with the kids they did all the cooking this time. I laid back & watched football & DW & the girls hit Black Friday shopping running.

Sounds like a bit of a rough start and a great ending. Glad your cat performed well for you.

It wasn't that rough , I was lucky I saw the flat on the walk around check before I hit the road. Haven had flat in years. luck ran out.
