Two newbie questions about a 31TS
We just bought a 2011 31TS and I cannot figure out how to access the controls to get the built in clock above the big slide set and running? Second newbie question, where is the water filter located? I just started winterizing today after our inaugural trip out in the new Cat.

Re: Two newbie questions about a 31TS
If they're still using the same type of clock as my 2009, it rotates off. If I remember correctly you rotate it counter-clockwise to remove.
The water filter should be in the basement. Found a post on another site that states the water filter is by the water pump behind the rear basement wall. The filter filters both water pump water and city water. So the city water connection and water pump should lead you to the filter.

Congrats on your new rig! It's got to be torture to use it just once and put it away for the season.

We have a 2010 TS31 and the clock comes off as Mopar_Earl stated. Our water filter is accessed in the basement. You need to remove an access panel with four screws. The panel is located on the rear wall on the drivers side of the unit. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies. I will check it out today.
Yes, it is torture to put it away, but we have relatively mild winters here. We have reservations at a campground on the coast for February. The only issue is going over mountain passes, but the one to the coast is pretty low and only gets snow a few times a year.

Congrats from a 2011 31ts owner. Don't forget the low point drains. There are two by the front steps, one at the rear of the camper by the water fill and one by the water filter. And remember the outside shower!

Welcome Blue. Where about in Southern Oregon? I'm in Richland, WA. Not too many on here from the NW!! Glad to see one more! We are hoping to make a trip to the coast next spring/summer as well. Lincoln City/Cannon Beach or Fort Stevens area.
Again, Welcome and enjoy the new rig!
