My DMax is a newer one with the DPF in it. I have used as much as B20 on occasion with no apparent ill effects. I know many folks have an opposing view, but at 7% I think you will be fine.

If memory serves and without looking I THINK my owner's manual for my 2006 Duramax says no more than 5% biodiesel should be used. I suggest you check what your manual has to say on the subject.

The limit is 5% and that was established by Bosch for the FI. My suspicions are that they never tested with anything higher than B5 so they're just doing the CYA thing ~ but thats just a guess on my part.

Your owners manual should tell you how much bio diesel you can burn. My 2007.0 without a DPF is 5% so GM should be about the same. I've never ran bio diesel in my truck as they don't sell it anywhere near me. Also I hear it's not any cheaper and or more than ULSD.

If you don't have a owners manual, you should be able to download one from GM for free in PDF format.

I'm curious Sean, are there very many American made pickups in England? Also, is your truck a right or left hand drive?

There are quite a few classic American cars and pickups in the U.K. . I know of a couple near me and they are all left hand drive.
Mine was imported in November 2008 and had to have a SVA (single Vehicle Approval), so that it could be registered in the U.K. there is quite a large market over here for any large American muscle cars and powerful pickups. I have been offered more than I paid for mine, mainly because of the cost of importing and the taxes that are payable when it reaches the U.K.
