32qbbs blowout
I'm hoping someone can give me a little help here. I had a rear left tire blowout on my 32qbbs this past weekend " Big slide-out side" that luckily didn't do any body damage, however it did mess up the plastic wire support or strap that is located under the slide-out. It looks as though the wires were attached to this and as the slide moves in and out this keeps the wires out of the way while still flexing. Could someone send me a picture so i can see how to attach a new one and also suggest where i can order a replacement. Thanks

Re: 32qbbs blowout
Sorry about the blowout. That strap has broken on it's own for a few of us. The picasa link in our signature has photos of our solution, which we got from others in this forum. Click the link and when you are in the picasa site, click on the folder labeled REPAIRS.
What year is your trailer? It would be helpful if you could make a signature. Just go to your profile and click the signature tab. Be sure to click "save" (or "ok" or "done") at the bottom when you are finished.

You can order the plastic hanger directly from forrest river, but it will set you back about $42......half of which was shipping. I ordered one this spring and it has broke again already....poor design. I am looking for an alternative over the winter to reinstall in the spring. But if you want to replace it anyway with the OEM. Here is a link to Kyle at forrest rivers parts department. He can take care of your problem. Good luck

Thanks for the help...im going to look for a coiled wire rather then go the wildcat route.

That is what I am going to look for in the spring when mine comes out of hibernation.
