Lots of problems, but I still love it...
We bought our 2010 31TS in January. Our 1st couple of trips we found numerous problems, with the main thing being the brakes not working. We took it to our dealer and they fixed them.
Our next time out we were gone about 3 months, on our way we had what the dealer classified as a catastrophic event. My H noticed that the trailer was no longer behind us and smoke was everywhere!!
He was able to pull over as far as we could, on a busy highway, and get out to see what had happened. To make an extremely long story short, our axle broke! When it was all said and done, we had 2 new axles and 2 new tires.
Our dealer's service dept. was wonderful to work with, and we didn't have any problems with Forest River or Lippert. Thank the Lord! I did tell my service guy that I was losing confidence in my trailer, but he has assured me that he would take care of us, even pass the warranty!! We had a 2006 28RK Wildcat prior to this one and never had too many problems with it. I really love my new Cat and I'm hoping that next year will be smooth sailing.
We will be going further in our travels next year and have already decided to replace all 4 tires. Don't want to take the chance of any of them blowing!! They are not the best brand!
Just thought I should share. Lippert has been having a multitude of problems with the new SBS axles. In replacing ours they sent something other than them and said they no longer make them.
We bought our RV at Apache Village RV in Florissant. They have always been friendly and easy to work with.

Would have scared the p**p out of me, glad you are safe
Just one more thing to inspect. Its to the point it takes me 2 days just to inspect everything to at least feel somewhat secure that we will make it all the way through the trip.
Where did the axle break center, near bearing, etc ? Thanks

he has assured me that he would take care of us,
Did he speak with a Sicilian accent? If he did, then "take care of us" could mean something entirely different.

LOL!!! at Bob! No accent what so ever...
It happened at the bearing... and it was really scary!! My hubby is very careful while driving and luckily noticed right away something was wrong. We sat on the Hwy for almost 5 hr's until Good sam finally located and sent a repair person!!
The guy they sent didn't know much... a couple of my hubby's friends came and together they were able to fix it so my H could tow it to our service center!!
