Zip Lines!

Post by Richard Mondavi on 10/20/2010, 4:03 am

The newest thing in Branson, MO this year seems to be ziplines. There are at least three operating in the Branson area. The most extreme one is the zipline that operates from the top of the 230 foot tall Inspiration Tower at Shepherd of the Hills. It’s a half mile run to the bottom and man, is it ever fast.

DW AND I COMING DOWN ACROSS THE TOP OF THE TREES.

THREE PEOPLE START THEIR RUN DOWN THE LINE.

This was a heck of a lot of fun, but not for the faint of heart.

Seems like Zip lines are popping up all over the place. That one your on is by far the most heart pumping one i've seen yet. I've been wanting to go do one.

I'm with TC on this one! I don't know how much adrenaline I have or where it's stored in the body, but I do know I do not need it rushing around! Count me out!

If and when I find a Zip Line I am going to give a try. You only go around in this Life Once. As Shooter says "Looks like fun". Jim

For old guys like me, the zip line also doubled as a stress test for my heart. My heart is still in good shape.
