Rear slideout leak fixed by dealer
My 2008 QBBS had a leak on the rear wall of the bedroom slideout. A local dealer looked at it and said the inner seal wasn't wide enough, therefore wasn't touching the slideout wall. When he showed me this, I could see straight through to the back of the bedroom trim board. I took the cat back to the original dealer in Ohio and they fixed it. I was told that the inner seal was curled around and thereofore wasn't making contact with the slideout. Once back home, I inspected it and found that it now looks nothing like it did when the other dealer showed me. I don't have any pre-repair pictures and unfortunately the post-repair picture doesn't show it very well. There is a fabric type material that is affixed to the slideout wall which then goes outward and connects to the back of the slideout wood trim. When fully opened, the inner seal rests snug against this fabric material. Then of course the outer seal is snug against the slideout wall.

The diagram shows it better than the picture does. My only guess is that either the slideout wasn't going out completely so that the inner seal didn't seal tight against the white fabric material or the fabric material wasn't there or had become loose. I did notice that when fully opened, the outer seal no longer rests on the black frame of the slideout windows, therefore the slideout is going out further now than what it did. I hope this helps others in fixing their bedroom slideout leaks.
