Spiderweb cracks in front nose

Post by Thomasbeau on 10/13/2010, 2:57 pm

I have a 2005 27RL, when cleaning it recently I noticed two areas where the fiberglass on the front nose has developed fine spiderweb cracks. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be concerned? Is there a way to repair this?

Thanks,

Thomasbeau

In the U.K. a few years ago Caravans developed the same problem, and most had to have a new front panel fitted, (mainly due to Vans only being less a year old). I also know that lots were repaired and you would never have known that they had a problem in the first place. Have a chat to some one in a boatyard (fibre glass boats). they might be able to send you in the right direction for a solution, repair paste/filler.
