Motion sensing switch for lights
I have two sets of motion sensing switches just sitting around in my garage. I was wondering if anyone has ever installed these in an RV. Would the wiring be different because of the 110v / 12 v system?

The 120v ones probably won't work. Either the circuitry is 120v or converted to a lower DC voltage. Either way, the voltage would be too low. If you want to add a 12v motion porch light or scare light, go here http://www.starlightsinc.com/shop/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=4

There are some PIR sensors on the market that can also more than one light, It would be nice to have the outside light for the steps to come on as you approach, Another use could be a warning for other people to stay away, siren or voice recording if they come too close to your Cat.

Hooey! Those are kinda pricey, but they sure are neat. That would be a great upgrade, especially in those waaaaay out places with little light.

I saw the starlight units at the Hershey show a few weeks back. They are VERY NICE!!!
Yes, pricey, but they look good. $75.00 if you look around.
Someone over HERE
installed this light and it really easy. There are some pictures of the difference between the LED and regular bulbs too.

For those waaaay out places, I've found the best scare light ever to be muzzle flash. Does the trick every time.
