Rim Size to a 2006 Wildcat 32QBBS
Am looking at ordering rims and tires. Tire size easy to get, 225/75R15D. I am wondering if anyone knows the rim size? Examples: 6 on 5-1/2 8 on 6-1/2 ??????? This is what I do not know. Information would be greatfull.
Thank you.

6 on 5-1/2 or 8 on 6-1/2 is talking about the lug pattern.
First count the number of lugs you have and that will give you the first number.
Check out the bottom of the page linked below. We have a quick tutorial on each wheel page so you can determine exactly what bolt pattern you have.

If your going for rims and tires at the same time,,, Might be a good time to go for 16" wheels and tires. shouldn't be but a few dollars difference between the two and a lot more choices in tires.

I agree with Admin. Don't forget the spare if you upgrade to 16". My factory optional 16" wheels come with ST235/80R16/E tires.

maybe a stupid question. why are 16" tires better than 15" tires?
seems like the brands are all over the spectrum. they all have good and bad ratings. how to decide?

Tire load rating have a lot to do with the replacement to 16'' E rating rather than D.

The 16's give you a much broader range of choices since you use "LT" or "light truck" tires. It also lets you buy quality tires instead of the Chinese junk most 15" tires are. Last but not least, the 16's have something higher than the 65 mph speed limitation the 15's have.

My understanding is the speed rating is dependent on the tire, not the rim. I upgraded to 16" rims and tires last year; because I stayed with ST tires there is still a 65 MPH speed rating.
I'm fine with that due to fuel mileage and safety.

Good point Glen! I should have stipulated that ST tires have the lower speed ratings, not just 16's in general.
