Kingpin and capture plate
Hello all, new Cat owner here, will pick it up this week.
Anyway, question is this, I got a used pullrite superglide for an awesome price, its the 3300 model. The Cat is a 2005 31qbh. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out which capture plate to get. Can I use the quick connect plate (preferrable) but I don't know which one to get. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't know the specs of the kingpin on the trailer.
Thanks!

First
to the forum from theU.K.
I have a PDF manual for the Pullrite Superglide. which if you send me a PM with your Email address I will send you PDF manual.
The Pullrite needs a capture plate that has a welded wedge behind the King pin, it is this part that makes the superglide work. You can not use the superglide with just the king pin. You could also just google pullrite and you should find the info for the hitch.

Thanks for the welcome!
I am needing to know which capture plate to get. I would rather get the quick connect, but I don't know the measurements required to get the right one, that was the info I'm looking for, thanks!

Re: Kingpin and capture plate
Do you mean you don't want to use the wedge behind the king pin?
Pullrite do a conversion plate but I imagine that it is quite expensive.

Hello welcome to the forum, go to the link below if you know your pin box model and measurements you can find the right capture plate. I would highly recommend the quick connect easy on and off. You can also call Pullrite they can walk you through the process

I have the quick connect capture plate and it's the only way to go. You can take it off and use it on most any king pin on any trailer if you need to pull another trailer.
