Memory Foam topper and Flat screen

Post by Sean on 9/30/2010, 6:34 pm

We have just added a Memory Foam topper to the bed to make it a bit more comfortable, But like many on the forum this is where we put the 28 inch Flat screen when traveling. But due to the weight of the Flat screen and the base leaving an indent on the the topper, it had to be moved. So now the new home for the Flat Screen is under the window in the main slide out, 2 rings screwed to the floor and another 2 fitted to the wall where the blind retainers are fitted. It is very secure for traveling and when the Flat Screen is in the entertainment centre you can't really see the rings on the floor or wall

Great idea for the TV. Now I can do what you done and not put it on the bed every time we travel.

The 1st couple trips I use to take my TV off the wall and lay it under the bed. That got old fast and I leave it on the wall all the time now. No issues, never fell off and the mounting screws stay tight. I only take it off the wall to bring it inside the house during winter storage to keep the TV from freezing temps.

I threw my factory mattress away and bought a Serta Parkfield mattress this past spring. It put up a good battle getting it up the hallway and fliped onto the bed framing but I won! The new mattress was over twice as thick. So It does put my head and shoulders a lot closer to the overhead cab. After the 1st time you hit your head, you don't do it again. lol
