Bumper basket for the Wildcat

Post by BayouDude on Thu Sep 30, 2010 9:07 am

Just thought I would post my latest mod to the Wildcat. I had this basket/bumper made after my stock one failed. Can't wait to try it out and it should make a great place to put the smoker Cool

Thanks everyone. I am pleased with the way it turned out. The square bumper has a removable end cap with a S.S. pin with cotter key. No more worrying if I am going to lose a sewer hose going down the interstate. I am just going to have to remember that the Cat is a few feet longer when backing into my shed Very Happy

Isn't that spelt alumynum? cheers

That is awsome. I thought about something like that for my monster generac so I don't have to muscle it into the bed of the truck. Very nice job.

Looks good. I am wanting to do something like that on the back of mine. What are the measurements and how is it connected to the camper if you don't mind me asking?

I don't know the dimensions off hand but I can take some this week. it is bolted through the frame of the trailer with 1/2" bolts. It started out as just a straight bumper replacement after the stock one failed then I had a basket added to the bumper. The square tubing bumper is welded shut on one end but has a removable cap on the other held in with a stainless pin and cotter key.
