My Progressive Dynamics setup for info
I had this installed in my motor Home, and changed it over to my cat before I sold it (motor home) Progressive Dynamics 45 Amp RV Converter/charger PD9245C with charge Wizard. It fits on the Parallax tray no problem, and I just wired in with original cables from the Cat fuse board. I have 450 amp battery bank, 1 Battery Varta 230amp with a disconnect switch and a pair of Numax 110 amp batteries wired in parallel also with a disconnect switch.
This setup allows me to run one bank at a time,or both together. the charger/converter allows for different size and types of battery to be installed on the same instalation.

This picture shows how Converter/charger sits in old Parallax casing. I had to cut away and fold over the front lip of the housing to slide the Converter/charger into position, I then screwed 2 fixings to hold in place. Note remote wizard pendant in bottom right hand corner, this tells what state of charge the batteries have reached, it is telling me today that it is in Boost charging
at 14.4v.
I can last about 3/4 days with this set up using heating, inverter for TV for about 3 to 4 hours a day, plus normal use of pump, lights etc. with out having to run Generator

Sweet! The big battery looks like a 8D truck battery that we have in the US.

The big battery is a real heavy weight about 53kg. When I purchased I was told it would take a lot of abuse, over 200 full discharge which I would not do the battery is about 4 years old no and still going,
