New "Wildcat" Spare Tire Cover

Post by Mopar_Earl on 8/29/2010, 3:03 pm

I saw the newer Wildcat's had a better looking spare tire cover than the older plain Forest River covers. Mine was looking bad and I damaged it so a new one was needed. I ordered this one from Forest River for $27.80. Only problem is they charged me $18.40 freight on it!! So if you want one, you might want to order it with some other items.

I got one of those from my local dealer. I'm not sure why but my original cover and the new one both had really wimpy elastic that relaxed almost right away. I've had to put a bungie around it to keep from losing both of them!

My spare tire is underneath now so I don't need my cover anymore. I lost one on the road in the first year. I got a free one from the factory when I went on a tour.
