Critters... and such.
Anyone putting their WC in storage or just winterizing, do you have problems with rats, mice, ants, spiders **EEEK** (I hate spiders), etc? What do you do to prevent these problems? I just rented enclosed storage and want to possibly treat the place before actually parking the WC in it. Suggestions?

Put Bounce Dryer sheets in the back side of Cabnets and Draw spaces and other spaces. Wrap a couple dryer sheets around the power cable just behind the encloser door. Put DECON out in the enclosed storage area.
Most of the time when I set up at a camp site I will spray bug spray around the front and rear jacks and around the tires (being careful not getting any on the tires).

All of Franks ideas are good, and you could also stuff steel wool in any openings.Mice will not chew on it to get in.

I heard somewhere if you put talcum power down, lots of bugs and things wont cross the line.
Decon is good, but if you put it inside, its liable to make the mice come in for it.

Our storage area is also enclosed, have a friend that works for Home Paramount he suggested to place the enclosed rodent traps along the interior walls and to also use dryer sheets (they must work) inside and outside along the bottom of the RV. In spring had a few spiders on the outside but nothing inside. Crossin my fingers for this winter.

Using Decon on the outside, rats and mice eat the Decon then they go to find water. Very soon after they drink water they are DEAD.
Bounce Dryer sheets are good for soap scum on shower glass and walls. Dry sheets are good on removing bugs on the front cap. Wet the cap down and soak the dry sheet in water rub on the cap. But I DO NOT use on the decals. Then rinse with plenty of water.

Read somewhere that mice are different once you cross the Mississippi maybe they like dryer sheets out there. Did you take notice if any were used as little blankets?
