Dinette slide Leak

I think I have found where my slide was leaking, On the rear outer of the slide under the floor there is a pair of 12 volt wires that go through the floor in a flanged tube, these wires are getting disturbed every time the slide goes in and out. because the slide roof slants to the outer wall any water travels down the side wall and if the wind is right, gets blown up into the slide via the loose flanged tube.(I know water does not normally travel up hill, but this is where my slide gets wet). I have done a slight change to the route the wire takes so hopefully when the slide goes in it will not catch any more.
if any one needs further info let me know and next time I have slide out and weather is good will take a pic to show where the problem was (I hope)
