Still more Odyssey 2010

We've taken a short break from the CAT and are staying at a time-share condo in Winter Park, CO. We have always wanted to see Rocky Mountain National Park but never made the effort, even though we lived nearby for six years. Well, I wish we hadn't waited so long. Magnificent! Beautiful! Awe inspiring! How does one describe "the top of the world"! We traveled Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in the US at 12,138'. The views were much more spectacular than the photos that I managed to take. If you get out this way, it's a must see. Happy traveling.

Great pictures... Colorado is a beautiful state. At that altitude, just walking is a challenge.

We rode the harleys back through there on our way back from Sturgis. It was sleeting at the top in August.

We've been snow skiing at winter park,,,, I love it there.

We stayed at a campground on the west side of trail ridge road. It is right at the entrance to the national park. I highly recommend this campground.
