Rear view camera

Post by Sean on 8/18/2010, 10:58 pm

Has any one fitted a rear view camera to there Cat? If so how did you make the link between Cat and TV. I have just purchased a system that will give 1, 2 or 3 camera views at the same time. I thought 1 for the bumper of TV, (for when driving solo) and possibly one on each back corner of the Cat.

Sounds like a great addition but wouldn't you wan't the side cameras closer to the front so you can see whats there when changing lanes?

I have towing mirrors fitted that clip onto my existing door mirrors, with these I can just see my rear marker lights that stick out about 6'' from the rear body work.

I have now purchased a double lens camera for the back of my Cat.
They can be moved individually so that you can see the road and the rear bumper of the Cat. I only need one more connecting cable now then I will be able to Finnish my camera install

I installed a camera a couple of years ago and love it when backing into spots when alone. The only problem is the glare on the camera from the sun stop good viewing when traveling down the road. Got the unit from ebay.
