tv on outside speakers

Post by crazymcs on 8/16/2010, 9:35 am

We have the concertone system, and our cat has the window to spin TV around to watch from outside. How do i get the Tv sound on the outside speakers. I connected cables from TV audio L and R to wall by tv. I tried changing mode on concertone and nothing. I also tried plugging tv into inputs below tv helf and nothing. Any help would be great.

I have mine wired up like this.

I use a xbox to watch movies so I have that audio video plugged into the outlet on that shelf that goes into the concertone.

I only have the video out to the tv itself that comes from the concertone.

You have A,B,C channels on concertone. I believe the C channel is the outside speakers on mine.

Your wires may have come loose from the back of the concertone. Pop the front plate off and slide the unit out and check your wiring.

Does the radio play on the outside speakers? The audio inputs are on the separate input wall plate, after you are connected to one of the inputs you need to change the mode to one of the axillary channels. On mine in the mode section there are two separate input channels.

Hope this helps.

Same here. The remote has A B C as options. A is the main living area, B is the back bedroom, and C is the outside speakers.

The outdoor speakers work with the radio and dvd player.

Does your TV audio work on the inside speakers or not at all through the concertone?

Does your A/V connections look like mine above? Notice the auxillary input wall plate to the left of the concertone under the shelf and an additional input wall plate under the TV. (The middle plate) This middle plate is where I have the audio output of my TV connected. I then use the mode button on the concertone to get input 1. Then the B button is the outside speakers on mine.

The auxillary input plate (to the left of the concertone) is input 2 on my concertone. The plate itself also has a slider switch for three separate inputs as well. You must use the slide switch to choose the input your connected to on the plate itself then use the mode switch on the concertone to choose input 2. With this setup you can have 4 seperate audio inputs into your concertone. Its a great system when it works. Wink

I bought a 4 dollar jack/cord at walmart - not sure what the technical term for it is. It has the red and white jack plugs on one end and a single plug on the the other. I plug the single end to the tv's headphone jack and the other 2 to the red/white jacks on wall..
