AC/DC CONVERTOR NOT WORKING?
I DONT THINK MY AC/DC CONVERTOR IS WORKING.WHEN I AM HOOKED UP TO ELECTRIC MY 12 V BATTERY KEEPS GOING DEAD. I BELIEVE THE CONVERTOR IS SUPPOSE TO CHARGE THE BATTERY WHILE HOOKED UP TO ELECTRIC. IT DOESNT. AFTER A WHILE THE BATTERY GOES DEAD AND SEVERAL FUNCTIONS OF THE TRAILER DONT WORK, 1 BEING THAT THE FRIDGE STOPS WORKING. DUE TO NO DC POWER. I HAVE CHKED THE FUSES ON THE CONVERTOR BUT ALL ARE GOOD. ANY TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS FOR THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Re: AC/DC CONVERTOR NOT WORKING?
Welcome to the forum.
How old is your battery? Does it have any water in it?
I think the best way to test the converter is to put a volt meter on the battery it to see if there is any power going to it from the converter.
Please turn caps lock off.......

Make sure you replace it with a muti-stage converter/charger, your batteries will last a lot longer.
Here's the one I used https://bestconverter.3dcartstores.com/PD4655-55-Amp-Converter-Upgrade-Section_p_352.html it goes in place of the OEM section in the bottom of the power panel.

Earl is right.I got mine from there, and installed it last week. Can't beat the price with the free shipping. With the multi-stage charger I don't have to worry about my batteries burning up.
