30ft is long enough

Post by kwf904 on 8/8/2010, 12:44 am

Ever since we bought our rig (28RKBS) I had wondered if we should have gone with the 31TS. Well after waxing it yesterday I won't be thinking of anything longer now. Man that is a lot of real estate to wax. I used Maguires 50 and have to say that it is one of the easier waxes I've ever used.

They just seem to keep going and going don't they?
I wax mine all over about once a year and wax the side walls of the slide 3-4 times. I even got Grace to help me last year until she fell off the milk crate she was standing on and hurt herself (she's ok now). The slide moves silently against the seals that way and they don't get the scratching I see on so many RVs.

Preach it brother. We've lived in our 29RLBS as "mostimers" for four seasons. We've looked at longer models and decided that we have just enough room for whatever we need. And yes, they do go on and on and on and ...............

Same thing with vehicles... When I was a kid, I owned one car. That car was kept spotless and waxed. Today we have six vehicles, a WC, two trailers, and two tractors. None of them are kept up like my one car was when I was young. To many vehicles and not enough energy. Wax the WC,,,, are you kidding.
I have to search for energy to wash it once every two months.

Yeah, I waxed my first pickup. I think I've waxed my current truck once in the last 10 years. I've never done the WC. I just wash it down once or twice a year. I'm with Maxtor on the energy and I'm half his age.

I've washed mine plenty of times, down here the little black bugs will cover it up. That and the dust and pollen from pine trees.

I wanna wax mine ,,,, I really do. I just don't have the money to pay someone to do it yet.
