New member from NE Texas.
Greetings everyone,
We will be picking up our 2010 31TS Wildcat next Tuesday. This is our first 5th wheel and we are very excited about it. I've already learned much from reading the forums and look forward to continue to learn from those with experience.

Welcome from New Jersey.
There is a great Predelivery checklist on this site you should print out and take with you upon delivery.
Our Cat is also our first 5th wheel and we love it. It pulls so much better than a TT and our layout in a 32 QBBS is perfect for us.
Goodluck with your new Cat and Happy Camping

Welcome. We're down the road a bit in Roman Forest (just north of Houston). We looked at the 31TS before we got this one, but it was just a bit heavy for the truck I had at the time. Of course now I have a truck that is more than capable, but oh well. We still like what we got. You're gonna love the 31TS as well. Maybe we'll see you down the road!

Welcome to the forum. We have a 2010 31TS and love it. Mainly for my wife and I so the layout works very well for us. Although, we have had nine people to visit with us and the unit had seats for everyone.
Also, nice to kick back and watch the tv or out the big rear window with the loungers in the middle of the living room.
Good luck with your new unit.

Re: New member from NE Texas.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Most of our time will be spent relatively close to home and on weekends due to work demands for my wife and I. However, we plan at least a 10 day outing withing a year from now. Any suggestions for staying in the North Texas, SE Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Louisiana area? Links to campgrounds would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, and again, thanks for the welcome.
Will post a pic as soon as I can get one and figure out how it's done. I'll probably take the picture and have my son come post it for me. He teaches computer web stuff. I help him mow his lawn, he fixes my computers. Not sure which of us is getting the better deal.

WEll, let's see. Caddo Lake. I am working my way up there. It's supposed to be pretty awesome in its "pristineness". Of course, you have to get to Canton TX for Canton Trade Days. Just don't stay at Willow Branch RV park near Van, TX. A bit further south, you should visit the Nacogdoches area. Interesting area for sure. And while it's a bit further north, Branson MO. We stayed at a fantastic park there that was Passport America so it was only $19.00 a night. Pretty good for that kind of place. Anyway, that should get you started.
