New 32QBT and I need help

Post by jer32qbt on 7/25/2010, 12:41 pm

I just picked up a new 32' qbt and cannot find where the water filter goes. And this weekend we used the sink in the bathroom and the water might be 1/4" stream from the faucet when wide open. Any ideas?

My water filter is in the front pass thru compartment right behind the water pump.

I would try to take the faucet apart and look for construction debris in the water line.

jer32qbt, when I picked up my 32QBBS, I had no water at all in the bathroom sink. I took the faucet apart and the wire screen filter was plugged with sawdust. Once that was cleaned out, it worked great.

I think the team at wildcat that build these units save all the sawdust to put in any orifice that will cause the owner a problem. But I still love my Cat

Saw dust is a free option. I still find bits and pieces when I open up a panel to do mods.

I, like you found crap in the sink screen and once clean it works fine. Called the dealer and finally find the filter located behind a hiden compartment in the front storage area. Removed about a dozen screws and right in plain sight. only used the camper once and I can tell I already love it. Anyway thanks for the help

The water filter on our 31TS is behind a small horizontal door in the upper corner of the basement wall on the side nearest the water filler location. Low water volume from bathroon sink was caused by a sizeable chunk of wood scrap lodged behind the screen of the faucet. It only took me about 3 trips to figure that one out. Agree that this Wildcat is a very nice fifth wheel. Had a Jayco before and liked it as well.
