Curt 20k Slider
My 5th wheel slider feels loose. When I first had it installed by the dealer in April it had some movement to it as I think it should have, especially in the king pin plate area. But now when I grab the slider release bar the bar rattles all over and using the same bar I can easily move the hitch up and down and back and forth since there is about 3/32" of play. I also think this is part of the problem I have with the excessive jerking when i go over a bridge or bumps in the road.

Re: Curt 20k Slider
How old is the slider, what brand ?
all the newer slides have a swivel type head that rocks forward and back and tilts from side to side.
If you can tilt it to the side and still pick up on it and feel some slack then you have a worn out pin or possibly a cracked pin that it swivels on. Not sure without looking at it in person.
