WINEGARD WINGMAN ANTENNA BOOSTER

Post by bsmall2800 on 7/9/2010, 3:56 pm

I just installed this Wingman antenna booster after seeing some reviews that it increases your television reception. So I figured I would order on given that I was only receiving only two stations while parked on my RV pad at my house. After hooking up the Wingman I re-programed the television and now its receiving 22 digital channels and 3 non digital channels so thats a gain of 23 channels, so in book this attachment really works..
It took me longer to get the ladder and climb up on the roof than it did to install the Wingman, very simple to do.

The Wingman was purchased through Tweetys.com (R/V parts)
Here are some pictures of the Wingman:

Tracker16, if you decide to try it I hope you get the same results I did from my application/location... To be honest I was shocked when it was going through the re-progamming, showing the results and channels aquired after the wingman was installed....

My favorite camping spot is kind of in a hole.Every sense the TV went digital I have not been able to pick up more than one channel now.If this could help it would be great if for nothing else but to get the weather.

We have seen an improvement using the wingman, but not as dramatic as Bill. This is probably because we have less stations from which to draw.

We've had our wingman attachment for a year now and can definitely tell a difference in signal strength.

I put mine on at the start of the season and for the money I think it is well worth it. Sometimes all you need is one channel to get the local forecast or pass the time.

Where the Wingman really shines is when you are in a fringe area of TV reception. This is one of the best products I've ever purchased for the RV.

Bought mine last year and can tell the difference, although it is minor. I can ususally pick up one or two local stations now, where before it was usually one or two public stations. It's like treekiller mentioned.....just need something to pass the time or keep an eye on weather. $$ well spent IMO.
